Venture to Thailand “The Land of Smiles” and Myanmar aboard the liveaboard, Thailand Aggressor. These island paradises lie only 8 degrees north of the equator and enjoy a tropical climate year round. For divers, the true treasures of the Andaman Sea are found at famous sites in areas such as the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock, Surin Islands where the warm, clear water draws large schools of tropical fish, manta rays, and the awe-inspiring whale shark.

Thailand Aggressor has 9 luxury staterooms equipped with private bathroom and shower, storage and individual climate control. Each comfortable room has a picture window view, mirrored cabinet, wardrobe, fluffy, soft bathrobes for in between dives, and fresh towels daily. The onboard menu features a variety of American fare and local cuisine. Soft drinks, iced tea, beer, and wine are complimentary. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge and enjoy the sun deck with loungers, deck chairs, bar service and CD/stereo player. Relax after a fantastic day of diving in the on-deck hot tub while having a glass of wine or beer under the Pacific sky.

THE THAILAND AGGRESSOR’S COMFORT AND LUXURY CAN ONLY BE TOPPED BY THE AMAZING CORAL REEFS OF THE ANDAMAN SEA

These marine life-filled, spectacular reefs, are between 10 and 20 meters deep. Having been hit hard by the tsunami in 2004, the reef and fully reconstructed and thriving. Diving is good all year but the peak season is from May to September. October through April is peak in the Andaman Sea.  Prepare to see a vast array of Indo-Pacific reef fish and marine creatures. The biodiversity includes moray eels, puffer fish, Moorish idols, and triggers. The bigger species include mantas, whale sharks, and leopard sharks.

DIVE INTERESTING WRECKS LIKE THE BOONSUNG, A MARINE VESSEL AND THE KING CRUISER WRECK, A FORMER CAR AND PASSENGER FERRY ONLY 9 METERS BELOW THE SURFACE

Lots of interesting marine lives make their homes in these wrecks. In addition to the big thrills of walls and blue holes, for those who love macro diving, Thailand’s incredible range of species is a photographer’s dream. Similan Islands are home to creatures like ghost pipefish, frog fish and many rare species of nudibranch.

MYANMAR ITINERARIES

Mynamar/Burma is bordered by Thailand and has a large coastline along the Andaman sea and the Baxy of Bengal. The pristine diving in Myanmar is spectacular and offers untouched dive sites with hundreds of islands and lots of marine life similar to Thailand.

DIVES ARE TAKEN FROM SPACIOUS SKIFFS WHICH WILL TRANSPORT YOU TO EACH LOCATION

Dives are optimally timed to see the best marine life. Helpful crew members will assist with easy entry and exit from the water.  When returning to the Thailand Aggressor, ample storage for gear and camera equipment aboard the yacht is provided.  There is plenty of warm, fresh water to rinse divers and their gear.  With some of the most diverse diving and incredible species of critters, your Thailand or Myanmar dive adventure will top your all-time favorite dive list.

THAILAND AGGRESSOR OFFERS LOTS OF ACTIVITIES TO KEEP GUESTS PAMPERED BETWEEN DIVES

Watch a movie, take a shore excursion or snorkel on the gorgeous, shallow reefs. Perhaps you would like to take a scuba course or just a refresher course. Courses offered are scuba refresher, advanced open water diver, Nitrox certification, underwater photography and videography. Nitrox is available as well. Whether you just want to relax and enjoy Thailand’s and Myammar best diving or ramp up on your skills and certifications, Thailand Aggressor has your ticket to comfort, relaxation and the best diving in the area.

HOW TO GET THERE

  • For Andaman Sea itineraries, the Thailand Aggressor departs from Tap Lamu Pier, which is located 1 1/2  hours north from the Phuket International Airport (HKT) and just south of Khao Lak. Arrive by Saturday 4 pm at the Phuket International Airport (HKT) for transfer to Tap Lamu Pier. The yacht departs from port Saturday evening at 6 pm for its first night anchorage to prepare for diving the next morning
  • For Myanmar you need a visa and need to email us your passport copy at least 30 days before arrival. You will meet the crew at 8:30 am at Rangong airport for transfer to the B.C. Badin Resort or meet at 15:00 at the resort for transfer to the boat
